About the Manufacturer
MycoVital is a family business based in Limeshain, Hesse, near Frankfurt. Owner Christian Schmaus practically grew up with mushrooms. His father, a mushroom farm owner, instilled in him a passion for mushrooms.
MycoVital: "After almost 50 years of research and cultivation, we are proud to offer 14 pure organic vital mushrooms in the form of powder capsules, which are grown and processed exclusively in Germany. The exciting thing about our mushrooms is that we are far from knowing all their properties and characteristics. Every day we optimize our processes and question each step of the cultivation.
In addition to our mushrooms, we attach particular importance to environmentally friendly production. To keep the energy consumption of our cultivation as low as possible, mushrooms that prefer warm temperatures are grown in summer. A specially developed sterilization system for the substrate and photovoltaics contribute to reducing the burden on nature."

Cultivation of Vital Mushrooms
The cultivation and processing into mushroom powder capsules takes place entirely and exclusively at MycoVital's facility in Limeshain, Germany. The ripe, freshly harvested mushroom is immediately dried after harvesting using a special, gentle drying process, gently ground into powder with a water-cooled mill, and filled into HPMC capsules. There is no intermediate storage (e.g., in a cold storage facility). The immediate, fast, and gentle processing ensures that all important ingredients are preserved and that the mushroom does not lose its natural, beneficial properties for human nutrition.
Controlled cultivation in a closed system ensures that the mushroom remains free of pollutants, unlike other manufacturers who grow their mushrooms outdoors.
