Poria Cocos - The Mushroom of Inner Balance

The medicinal mushroom Poria Cocos is still relatively unknown in Europe, while in Asia it has held a firm place in traditional applications for centuries. There, it is particularly valued for its role in vitality and inner balance.

Also known as Cocos mushroom or Pine mushroom, Poria Cocos – much like a truffle – grows hidden in the ground. It is often found in connection with pine trees, which earned it its name as Pine mushroom. It owes the name Cocos mushroom to its appearance: in shape, size, and color, it resembles a coconut.
